Founded in 1885, Schimmel is now in its 4th Generation of family who still run the company. These instruments are “Handcrafted” however, they still use state of the art technology in the factory. As they say, yes to a sense of tradition but no to nostalgia. For those looking for an upright piano which is a little more “Bespoke” we would recommend that Schimmel is a brand to be considered. There is a particularly wide range of tonal colours within its range. These instruments have a big personality with plenty of spirit behind the sound and each instrument is an individual.
