The Yamaha B2 Acoustic Upright Piano is the mid-range model in Yamaha’s acclaimed B Series, featuring a traditional cabinet with elegant front pedestal legs and castors for easy mobility and a richer tonal chamber than the B1. Standing 113 cm tall, 150 cm wide, and 54 cm deep, and weighing 203 kg, the B2’s increased string length and solid spruce soundboard deliver enhanced warmth, depth, and volume while maintaining Yamaha’s signature clear, balanced tone.

At a comfortable 113cm tall, the b2 delivers a versatile sound for the player, whilst still being easily accommodated within the modern home. As opposed to the b1’s laminate soundboard, the b2 supports a solid spruce soundboard which allows for a more enhanced tonal spectrum, and its improved action can cater for a wider variety of musical styles. With regards to its size and capabilities, then, the b2 is an ideal family piano, and its overall durability ensures that it is a piano for life.
